Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have penpals for their children? It is something I have often thought about for my girls. I think it would be lovely writing practice, but also just for the joy of it.
Does anyone do this? Any thoughts?

I bet my six-year-old would love to have penpals. He's always writing letters to relatives. He also types e-mail sometimes, but I'd prefer him using pencil and paper.

oooh! a Penpal thread!
If anyone is interested in writing to us, I would love to have girl (sorry!) penpals of a similar age...I have a 3 yo & a 5 1/2 yo girls. My girls adore nature study, drawing & animals. We are in the UK.
I must point out, we are not Catholics. We are believing Christians, but not Catholic. I hope that is ok.

Stacy and Vanna: I have 14 and almost-11 yobs. Would they work? PM me!

I've tried to have penpals for my kids through this forum before and they've written to prospective "pals" only to never hear from them. I hope it works better this time.

I also have an almost 13 yod. Does anyone have a teen or almost teen girl who wants to write to someone?
