I LOVE "The Well Trained Mind" and their old forum was full of great ideas but it was a terrible format. I was so excited to see that they have set up a regular message board now and I wanted to share.

hey I've tried and tried to register, but the confirmation image doesn't show for me. all that's there is a red "X" no matter what I do???

I registered yesterday and it was fine. Maybe they have a glitch today??

don't know... emailed the tech support there to let them know of the problem. none of the verification images are showing, I tried to do a search in the forum for a particuliar question and it asked for me to type in a non-existant image there too.
oh well.
maybe the lord is helping me reduce my internet time!

hey the tech over there has fixed whatever the issue was and I was able to register!

I was happy to see the new board too. I'm not a strict classical type by any means....(that's why I love it here ) but I do get great ideas and reviews on programs there.
I hope they end up breaking it out a bit more by subject.
It's too bad some people get really testy over there on some issues. I've seen some really surprising behavior more often than necessary!

Oh wow...thanks for posting this info! I haven't visited the WTM forums since before the baby was born, so I didn't realize the change. Very nice to be able to follow a thread without having to scroll through a vast number of posts! I'll have to try registering in a moment.

Thanks for the link to the WTM forum. It looks interesting. I really was excited about that book when it came out and read it from cover to cover.
