Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have a good idea of my children's different learning styles. But I was thinking of doing an evaluation before buying any materials for next year. I have been inspired by all the discussions on curriculum being tailored to each individual child.

I have the book "Discover Your Child's Learning Style", but have not read it yet - has anyone used the evaluations in here? Someone had also mentioned using an online evaluation? Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks for your help.

One of the Catholic schools online has a learning styles assessment that is wonderful. The name escapes me right now My ds had fun with the online test and the results pegged him so well!! It has made (some) of our schooling easier by following their suggestions.
I think it was Mercy Academy and I am sorry I haven't learned how to post links yet.

I wouldn't have time to read the book myself. This was so much easier.
Hope that helps.

Thank you Anne - I may just do the Mercy Academy one. I just am not finding the time to read the other book and get planned - and I am trying not to plan next year without doing some kind of learning styles evaluation.
