Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We've taken the plunge and got an iMac. Blogging in typepad looks different-there's no spellcheck button and no button to make things in a bulleted/numbered list. Any suggestions?
Thanks
jennifer

Switch to Mozilla Firefox instead of Safari. Don't know if this will help with typepad, but it does with wordpress or blogger.

Thank you. I'm tring to download Firefox right now-I also want to get my google toolbar back and I think Firefox is the only way to get that. Firefox is taking forever to download, though. Do you think that is normal?
Do you prefer Firefox over Safari overall, or just as it relates to blogging?
Thanks
Jennifer

Firefox is VERY similar to Safari in so many ways. I do prefer it, though, as it seems that most sites are more friendly to Firefox than Safari for whatever reason.

Can't comment about the download. We're on dial-up so everything takes forever.

you can also turn on "check spelling as you type" in Safari.

[*]while using Safari, type any word in the reply box below
[*]double click the word to highlight it
[*]hold the control (ctrl) key down and click the highlighted word
    [*]choose "Spelling" from the menu
[*]choose "Check Spelling as You Type" from the submenu,
it will stay on unless you deselect it later

HTH

I prefer Safari, but I do use Firefox for wordpress (even then it's only on some processes) and an occasional website if I have trouble.

It took less than a minute for me to d/l Firefox, but I have cable.
