Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Storybook of Science

I found this book, The Story Book of Science as I was planning for attending my state homeschool convention this coming week.

I thought of all of you, and wanted to make sure I posted it here, because it looked very neat. Maybe it's already been mentioned here, but just in case, I thought I'd mention it. :)

You can also read the book online at the Baldwin Project.

The author is Jean Henri Fabre - best known for his classic books on insects.

Oh, thanks Kathryn! :o)

I wonder which would be better. Free is nice, though I don't like reading from the computer, the couch is much nicer!

But I could print it out, wonder if it'd be cheaper? Hmmmm..........

Maybe I'll see it at my state convention this week, and I can decide. Thanks!
Tracy

And let us know if it is illustrated, Tracy! I love Fabre, but reprints of his books seem to miss the prety pictures.
