Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I cannot remember who now - but someone mentioned that they had a frog and goldfish combo but the frog died because the fish always ate his food.

Well I thought I'd share what my dc came up with (without knowing your story). Dc were out with dad and came home with an African water frog to put with our goldfish. I didn't thing these went together but at least temp. wise they can live in the same temp. water.

Well within the first day my dc were commenting on how the goldfish was hogging all the food and the frog was a nibbler so it wasn't getting anything to eat. They devised a plan - and now everytime they feed the frog, they capture it in the net, holding the frog in the net in the water and feed it in the net so the goldfish cannot get to its food too fast. The goldfish is fed in the tank at large and gobbles everything in short order - but cannot get at the frogs food.

So far this scheme has worked - and the frog remains healthy and active. I'm glad the boys are good at feeding it because I sure don't want to spend all that time feeding this crazy frog.
