Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but I couldn't think of where it would fit.

I'm 10 weeks pregnant with baby #5 and my older kids (ages 8 and 6) are asking lots of questions about what's happening to the baby while I'm pregnant - how does it eat, does it cry, how big is it, etc. I thought it would be fun if I can find a book that goes through the stages of pregnancy and talks about what's happening and shows pictures and things. Does anyone know of any books like this?

There's _Baby Margaret Mary, My Journey to Birth_ which give weekly details of baby Margaret's gestation.

My children liked it when we were expecting our Margaret Mary.

Baby on the Way - Martha & William Sears, Christine Watts-Kelly

I really like that one. It is very well done. It doesn't have photos of the stages, but drawn illustrations are present.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will see if I can find one (or both!).

Regina Doman's Angel in the Waters is a beautiful picture book -- aimed at younger children, but appropriate for any age!
