Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Jennifer,
I'm glad to see this link. I was just coming online to ask for help on how to motivate my 15yos to keep his owl log up. You see, he built a screech owl box of his own and put his infrared camera in it. He had heard and seen the screech owl in our yard and wanted to coax it to bring his mate and make the nest. He built it and they came! We have a live cam on our TV and we watch each day. The female has laid four eggs over the past six days or so. It is really fascinating.

My son aspires to be an orinthologist. He loves to read and talk about it all, but he just won't do the scientist thing and keep records! I'm hoping that looking at the site you posted will boost him to that.

Thanks!

Dana,
This is so awesome. Tell your son we are duly impressed! I so wish we had our own personal owls. My six year old is fascinated with owls, and we have to settle for seeing them at the zoo or when we visit my parents in the country.

Another webcam site my kids have become fascinated with is this one which has multiple bird cams (owls, eagles, falcons). The differnet cams are listed in the left hand scroll bar. It really is fun watching them.
