I just wanted to share a neat Leaf Collection Book print out at Nick Jr. It is very simple for my little boys and its free. This will be great for our Nature Study

We're starting our fall themes with Trees and Leaves. So far we've read:

Oak Tree by Gordon Morrison (anybody notice the flying squirrel on the cover

)
Our Apple Tree by Gorel Kristina Naslund
Woody Hazel and Little Pip by Elsa Beskow(another cute squirrel in this one

)

My ds 5 did a water color of a fall tree and my ds 4 cut out some fall pictures from a magazine for a collage.

What are your littles enjoying for fall so far? I'd love some more ideas

Great links and resources. ladies! Crafty Crow recently has been linking fall ideas and several are leaf related. There are some great nature study, science, and art ideas with leaves.

Thanks for the other links. We collected leaves at the park yesterday. I think we'll top our leaf theme with some cookie trees this weekend. Very cute site Mary!

Great ideas thanks for sharing!

We are starting our leaf learning, reading & doing. We will be collecting some this weekend, taking pictures of the outdoors, & making leaf hangings (putting leaves between 2 sheets of wax paper & making various pictures). I love this time of year, lots of Autumn themes. I was checking out Enchanted Learning last night for ideas, there are just so many I could get caught up in looking at all of them but then we might not get anything done
