Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I ordered Science 1 and have seen several of the other years. What I didn't like about it: It was very broken up into little pieces (well, that's the beauty of Sonlight! I just like to do more of a subject at one time, verses a little per day), the books they used were mostly the visual Usbourne books with little snippets of text verses a narrative that "flows", and the experiments did not relate to the science you were actually reading.

What I liked: Well, in the end it just didn't fit for us, though I enjoyed Sonlight's history and literature more. In the end we have gone with just reading various "living" science books, and doing our own notebook pages from those.

I have to say the new dvds look very fun and intriguing! I have toyed with ordering just the dvds and the "science activity" books that go with them for my younger one.

We tried it years ago and found that some of the books are very out of date with concepts presented from the 70s that are not accepted today.

I was thinking of using the Science 6 for my 7th grader.
