Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Thought I'd pass along this fun idea, especially great for the younger crowd. Let the kids wak around the backyard in the mismatched socks at the bottom of your laundry basket (for those of you with none, I'll send you some!). They will pick up all sorts of things...thn plant the socks in an aluminum pan and see what grows. Talk aout how seeds end up in the yard and why they may find things that are not in your yard in their "gardens". My kids are now beging to go to the park and see what's different there than our yard. Happy studying! Colleen in LA
