Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

A while back I lost my camera cord. I searched for over a week. Finally, in a fit of desperation, I called on St. Anthony who (I kid you not) graciously placed the cord in the middle of my bedroom carpet the next morning. I checked my bedroom countless times and I am certain it was no where in the room, let alone smack dab in the middle of the floor!

Last week, the baby got into my wallet and took out all of my ids and cards. My debit card was gone. I thought she threw it down our heater vent because she has been putting little things down there lately. That same day, I removed my wedding and engagement ring to put some lotion on my hands. I put the rings in a zippered part of my wallet. Later that afternoon, when I went to put on the rings, they were gone, not in the zippered part or anywhere in my wallet or purse and I emptied all of the contents from them both. They certainly were not there. I was so afraid that I had lost them for good.

Well, yesterday I found the debit card on the floor of my room under a chair that I had checked countless times. When I went to put it in my wallet, there were the rings in the very place I had put them last week!

St. Anthony IS awesome, Rebecca. I must have lost my wedding and engagement rings 5 times since we got married, usually in places where I thought SURELY they're gone for good (the worst was at a hotel 3 states away), and he always comes through for me!

Hooray!

I had a middle-of-the-floor St. Anthony moment today myself! Isn't it amazing?
