Maybe this is a good St. Anthony request? Something lost in cyberspace? 
A little more than a week ago I contacted the agency that handled my adoption 37 years ago, through the contact page on their website. I wanted to see if they still had the non-identifying information that was given to my adoptive parents. Time has erased all of our memories of what was in the files, and for many reasons it is all of a sudden very important to me to know those things.
I'm just a little too emotional about it all to call just yet, so I was hoping the contact form on their webpage would be sufficient. But I have not heard from anyone in any way yet.
If you wouldn't mind offering up a tiny prayer that my request gets to the appropriate parties, and back to me, in a timely manner, I would *really* appreciate it.
I know it's such a small deal when so many others have big things going on, but this small deal is kind of the straw on the camel's back right now.
