My husband has thrown out his back. He's away at the moment and is in so much pain he can't get out of his truck. I don't know the extent of his injury (not the first time) but he has had anxiety concerns as well--he's in construction and I don't know what this will mean for his work.

I'm praying for your dh as only one shouldering the same cross can.

My dh has had a pinched nerve or something this whole weekend. The pain is now in his shoulders. We had to go to a sport meeting with our hs group tonight and he was breaking out into a sweat and getting nauseous due to the pain. This happens periodically and, even though it's been a while, it's always so frustrating when it rears it's ugly head.

I sympathize. We'll pray together for our dhs. God, give them strength.

Thank you so much for your prayers.

Well, he's up and about, but not without pain and relapse. It's muscular (I always think of the spine when I hear about "throwing out" one's back, but that's the term he and his mother were using), and he's already messed it up by trying to do too much too early. He feels the weight of providing for a family of eight. And he's willful as all get-out. Please continue to pray for him.
