Because so many of you have been praying for me during my nine-month-long attempt to get pregnant with our second child, I wanted you to know that I took a pregnancy test this morning and it looked positive. Praise God! It was very faint, though (but dark enough that my husband saw it, so I know I'm not crazy!), so I am very nervous and just praying that it is for real and that it sticks. I will test again tomorrow to try and confirm. Please pray for this to be a healthy pregnancy and baby, a safe birth, and for my husband to have peace and guidance about our financial situation. He was happy to see the positive test (though he will probably remain skeptical/noncommital until he sees a darker line), but is now stressed out about our small house ...

I am sooooo very happy for you!
I will definitely pray - we live in 1000sq feet and there are 6 of us. I think Martha lived in an even smaller home with the 10 of them and I know there are others who make due with less square footage than we have and there are more people! To them, we're spoiled (and in many ways, we are!)! I'm writing this because regardless - you'll make what you have work!

Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers ... I couldn't resist taking another test since this morning's was so faint .... different test, different brand, another faint positive! I guess this is for real!
Please keep praying for this baby to stick! I am bouncing out of my skin here with excitement (and a fair amount of nervousness). Off to pray and look at a due date calculator.
Thank you SO much for your prayers during this whole process. And know I am still praying for those of you who are waiting for God's "yes" to your prayers for new life.

It is so funny, I had a dream last night that I was taking a test which was very positive, and it was because I was pg with twin girls! No, I am not pg, but it was fun dreaming it! So grateful to hear that it is the real thing for you!

While our house isn't teeny tiny, we are in 1200(?) sq. ft. with soon to be 7 people. It's workable. I'm learning to be ruthless with "needs" vs. "wants" to get rid of stuff.
