We just recently discovered this book by Marjorie Priceman. It is WONDERFUL!! This is so full of ideas for a unit study/studies.

Since it is technically apple picking season...thought many of you would enjoy this to pair with Johnny Appleseed, etc...

I discovered this gem through FIAR, but I think I am going to make my own rabbit trails for this one. It is wonderful.

We too love this book. There is a sequel but IMHO it is not as good as the original.

Homeschool share website has a great unit study on this book as well.

We love it too! We also enjoyed "How to Make a Cherry Pie and See the World," but I agree with Waverley- it's not as good as the apple one!

I keep hearing about this book and found it for $0.50 at our library booksale last weekend. I was so excited!

There is a Reading Rainbow episode featuring How to Make an Apple Pie and we watched it today. It is very well-done.

We borrowed the DVD from our library.
