Just wondering, as I approach 43, and my fertility has apparently returned 17 months post partum, what is the oldest a mother here has conceived? (Obviously there are other ways to become a mother, this way applies to my situation)
I am wondering specifically for those who don't use NFP or other spacing. I had considered using NFP, but my husband would rather let God decide. I prayed so much for him to feel this way 10 years ago that I can't now let fear take over! (Fear of loss, not of another baby)

Hi Loecea,
I was 42 when Peter was born (last baby we physically had). I conceived again six short months later but miscarried (our first) and then conceived again six short months after that but miscarried again (our second). At that point we used NFP for about a year because I thought I might keep getting pregnant and miscarrying. After one year, we ditched NFP. We never conceived after that. I would have been about 44 at that point. We then got Rose. :)
I know other women have conceived older, here and in our local community.
God bless you, Leocea!

I haven't been around for a while but I thought Becky Parker was 48 when she had her last child several years ago. I was just turned 41 when my last one was born.

Just realised with shock that I 'fit' here in this convo
I was a couple months shy of 42 when our youngest was born. And yes Leoca this topic is one we are taking to God every month! Physically I'm fighting fit, I don't think of myself as old so... well praying and praying.
