I found some neat links for Abraham Licoln's birthday (tomorrow) and put them up at my blog here: Links for Lincoln. Since we're not "doing" American history this year, (it's all about the Middle Ages ) I am trying to make a bit more of the national holidays than usual.

Does anyone have anything special planned for the presidents' days coming up? (Or any other national holidays for that matter?)

Nothing special, but we are kicking off our study of the presidents. We will be watching a series by the History Channel called "The Presidents". Only problem is I opened up the Netflix envelope and they accidentally sent me volume 2 instead of vol 1. That won't work at all.

Those links on your blog are great! Some I was already considering doing but others were new to me, thank you!
I have several ideas to introduce the boys to Abraham Lincoln but will blog whatever the end result truly is!

PS. I loved the jelly roll idea but while doing some Valentine shopping in Target over the weekend I saw some Little Debbie cakes that fit the bill and the box of 12 was only $1

Kelly, I was going to get a jelly roll at the bakery and instead picked up a box of Swiss Rolls (Drake's Cakes)! We'll have them with cocoa this afternoon.
