Thanks Janette for posting for me.

The 2WW is a great interest of mine - did a dissertation on it at college - so there are lots and lots of books on my list! I still need to fine tune the study - e.g. arrange books by age,review the books, pick specific activities from books such as WW2 for Kids, decide on what format eg notebook with added lapbook. I would also like to add some more Catholic/Religious emphasis. Also - I am sure that they are lots of different field trips around the country - I have just picked monuments and museums near No Va where I live. We are only starting it in the summer.

Thank you so much, dd13 is doing WW11 later in the year and I am starting to gather ideas as I have never done it with the children before.

What age are your dc?

Would you like me to post some extra books I had planned so far?

I really appreciated the picture book discussion that we had been having as well.

Thank you so much. I've been working on a unit study on WWII for my kids. I was inspired with the free "Heros of the Holocaust" from CHC. I wasn't experienced enough the first time through (with the oldest) to write down what books we used so I thought I was going to need to start from scratch.

I've learned about both WWII and record keeping from this one ;).
