Katherine very kindly shared her favorite gingerbread recipe with me recently and I followed up by baking some delicious cookies this weekend! (I can't take credit though - it was a wonderful recipe!)

Does anyone else have gingerbread recipes to share? My husband *loves* gingerbread and I'd like to make lots through the holidays. I thought it would be fun to try different variations. And maybe a mini-gingerbread carnival if there is interest??

Thanks for those turtle cookies, they are my grandmother's favorites! The boys and I will definitely be making some this year. By the way, I saw a review at Love2Learn for a book called Turtle Christmas that would be nice to read along with these cookies (baking *and* eating).

our favorites are Mary's sugar cookies - and no not mine - that is the name of the recipe. My husband who doesn't like sweets devours these and all other sugar cookies seem to pale in comparison.

Creme de Menthe Brownies - these are sooo yummy and perfect for Christmas.

chocolate covered cherry cookies are a MUST at our house, as are Mexican Wedding Cakes, Ribbon cookies and fudge(which isn't a cookie, but we have to have to have it).
