Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Becky - I have lived with my family in the most extreme places - from a tent, a hut and a crumbling stone house to a 3000 ft2 apartment and a "palace" that could be in a history book.....
When it was too big, we closed off a floor! When the grounds were too big we got sheep on them! We have had wonderful experiences in all and have always moved on when we felt it was right.
I would suggest that your really try to understand why you want to move. If the reasons are truly that you have a calling to move on than that is great. If it is just that you need help, then maybe this is a good time to discuss with your family what your home should be like (what is acceptable, what is important, what can be left as it is, etc) and what everyone can do to help. You may well have to let half your land go wild (what an adventure place)and close off a room or two until your family needs and capacity to manage them grow. I actually feel that managing a large home can teach children a lot of responsibilty and independence.

Not sure if that helps at all. Hope you work it out okay!
