A dear friend is having surgery Wednesday. I know she will appreciate your prayers.

As our group of dance mom friends worked to share this news and get our friend on prayer lists, we discovered that three other women, all friends of people in our circle, are also having breast cancer surgery this week. Please pray for them, too. I don't know them personally, but I think we all know what it feels like when complete strangers pray for us. It's pretty amazing. It's uplifting. It reminds us that we are, indeed, daughters of God.

Thanks in advance for your prayers. Your prayers are so very important! My family and friends trust that God listens to your prayers (of course, Jesus told us that our Heavenly Father listens to us whenever we call upon Him - they know that). Your prayers convince people that God not only exists, but that He does indeed respond when His people pray.

I know your prayers will help each of these women feel more at peace as well as empowered to follow her treatment plan with courage and fortitude.

Update 11/16:

Thank you SO much for your prayers! God is answering them in the best way possible. It looks as though the surgeon was able to excise all the cancerous cells. The surgery site has clean margins. It took two surgeries to get to this good place, but that's fine, given today's excellent news.

Please keep praying for my friend as she moves ahead with her treatment plan. Thank you!!!!

Please pray. See info below. My friend is dealing with her second infection since her first operation.
