I have been waiting to make the announcement until I could also share a link to the slideshow we made for her, but because the editing of it is taking forever and now may not happen until Emily brings her laptop home at Thanksgiving, here it is:
Our sweet Rose is finally, legally ours!
Our court date was June 20 and we had a huge party after the proceeding which took a surprisingly short amount of time considering how long everything else took. She is healthy and doing very well. We are able to focus on her special needs, but mostly she just tags along and receives tons of stimulation just by being in this crazy house! I will send the link to the slideshow when it is finished.
Thank you for your prayers and well wishes for her and us. God is good!
