New book on the topic of symmetry - Seeing Symmetry by Loreen Leedy

Really well done, great explanations and visual demonstrations, illustrations are appealing. Questions on each page that challenge learner to make observations of symmetry. Some activities listed in back.


Any other resources or ideas for activities for teaching symmetry?

I really enjoy many of the little Wooden Books, and I immediately thought of:

Symmetry: The Ordering Principle by David Wade. This is definitely a book with explanations for the high school level, but the art and images are enjoyed by all ages. If you follow that link, you'll be able to browse the entire book to see the amazing art.
