Lovely picture book biography of our first president. It is a pictoral treasure to add to any George Washington study for young students. Gives brief overview of his life. Each page covers a period of his life and includes in addition to the main text, a handwritten rule from the "Rules of Civility." As a young schoolboy he copied the "Rules of Civility." These are rules George Washington compiled to guide his life. They no doubt influenced his character and leadership ability.
