I saw this thread over the weekend and have been praying, Michele. One of mine (and the dog) was throwing up all yesterday and I kept thinking how much worse it would be with diabetes! Praying Maggie is truly herself by now and that Matthew is recovering as well.

Maggie is VERY sick again. She threw up all last night and has now started again. If I can't get her to stop soon and get insulin in her we will have to take her to the hospital and they will admit her and out her on a drip. She really wants to avoid that so please. please pray for her.

It really is Jen. We've been battling this for all of Advent. Maggie was just in the hospital Nov. 20th and really doesn't want to go in again.
My dh came home from work early (which he NEVER does) because he too felt sick.

Thank you all so much. We ended up going to the ER but we're home and Maggie is eating chicken noodle soup. Zofran by IV is a wonderful thing for a diabetic child with a stomach flu.
The Dr. was really glad I brought her in when I did as we were able to prevent her from slipping in DKA this time. We're praying she keeps on getting better and that I can sleep as I am feeling very sick to my stomach.
