Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

yep you do start counting a lot don't you the one that was hardest for me with counting was #5 it seems like such a large number.. and I'd look around and there just didn't seem to be enough kids to be 5.. and then I'd count.. and then count again and then rememnber to count the baby in the sling.. and sure enough there was 5 of them.

I have five. The other day I was counting. I started freaking out because I couldn't find the baby. My oldest pointed out that I was holding him on my hip.

I did that when I only had 1!
I was a relatively new mother, visiting my in-laws, so a bit out of my comfort zone. Couldn't find the baby, and was getting quizzical looks from the family when I asked where he was. That was pretty embarassing!
