I've never heard of this...it's like Netflix for books, but more expensive. It claims if you like a book you can then purchase it if you wanted.
Kind of interesting!
I found it because zulily has a special right now. For $19, you get $50 to spend on a rental plan at Book Pig. I kind of want to do it just to see how this thing works??!!!

wow...given my proclivity for late fees at the library, this could actually be cheaper than checking out "free" books!

I've looked all over the site but can't figure out how much it costs. Is it a monthly fee or a per book fee?

if you click on the "sign up now" button, it will give you the options. All are monthly fees, for a certain number of books...5, 8, 12 and 18, I think...highest price is $24.95/month.

I just received a "coupon offer" for $50 worth of Book Pig subscription for $19 if anyone wants to try it. I think this is a national offer.....and is viewable here at The Savvy Source. Let me know if it doesn't work.
