Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This is a site you're going to want to bookmark and incorporate into your planning for early elementary science!

Singing Science Records

These were originally produced in the 50's on LP. The webmaster found the original LP's in his parent's basement and then recorded them onto CD and made them available on the web free of charge! There's so much great stuff here to choose from. My kids enjoy these catchy tunes (especially my littles). I've been meaning to get here to link the site for some time now.

Recordings include about 14 songs each of:

** Space Songs
** Energy and Motion Songs
** Experiment Songs
** Weather Songs
** Nature Songs
** More Nature Songs

And, check out this really great animated song of The Elements (circa 1955, but the end of the animation lists the elements discovered since '55 up to 2003).

HILARIOUS animated introduction to the element of Oxygen! I promise you'll want to play this one over and over again...and so will your chemistry students!

Enjoy!

Thanks Jennifer for the reminder...we found this a few years ago when the older kids were younger. Now I can show them to the middles...cool! My kids still sing "zoom a little zoom"
It is things like that that make my kids ask how much they REALLY knew about science when I "was little". They are AMAZED!
