I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, so please move if inappropriate.

A relic of St. Mary Magdalene is visiting the United States for the 1st time. Fr. Thomas Michelet O.P. is accompanying the relics and has a letter of authentication from Bishop Dominique Rey of Frejus - Toulon, the French Diocese that is home to the relic.

The relic will be visiting Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, New York & Florida visiting a different Catholic Church every day or so.

I only have a couple of dates, but can get the full schedule if anyone is interested.
10/22/2009 - St. Michaels Church, Gainesville, Georgia
10/27/2009 - EWTN live with Fr. Mitch Pacwa broadcast at 10 p.m. EST
10/29/2009 - St Peter's Cathedral, Jackson, Mississippi
11/14 & 11/15/2009 - Holy Family - St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Brooklyn, NY

I'm a member of Holy Family - St. Thomas Aquinas, which is where I heard about the visit.

wow MaryAnne ! that is fantastic ! I am way to far away to visit being in Canada , but would you be able to say a prayer for me if you visit ? Maybe if you are up for it you would be able to pray for others intetions while there ? Thanks for posting & God Bless , Roxie

Roxie are you in the western or eastern part of Canada? Probably no connection, but my Mom grew up in an outport in Newfoundland in the 1920's & 1930 and came to the US in 1939. Which was 10 years prior to Newfoundland's 1949 Confederation with Canada.
