I am a huge picture book fan and have loved buying many beautiful books for our children.
Today I bought a lovely book especially for Arwen that we had gotten from the library often called "I Love you like Crazy Cakes" by Rose Lewis.
It is the story of the adoption of a little chinese baby and the immediate love that develops between the mother and baby.
Of course the illustrations are too sweet.

Hi, Gae!!!! Nice to "see" you here!
We love that book too. Our little neighbor-girl-age 8, who is practically a member of our family..... is adopted from China and they have this book, and we've read it a few times. And, I love Jane Dyer's illustrations!

Last year, we started Picture Book a Day Challenge....we just start a new thread for any great picture books we find. The title goes in the subject heading and then we try to list any "keywords" that would facilitate a "search" of the archives in the future. Which is why I added those random words to that post up above.

Funny that you post this because I *just* read this book a couple of days ago. I am searching for picture books on adoption for our new son. Such a sweet book!
