Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I read on anothr message board about cooking a flank steak in the crock pot. Do you think it would work?
I marinated it before I froze it. I am thinking about using it for fajitas.

I've cooked chuck steak in the crock pot. Chuck steak can have varying levels of tendernesss throughout the same steak, so it's a good one for "low and slow." But flank steak tends to be a better cut of meat. If you've already marinated it, I'd thaw it and then grill it or broil it and use it fajita-style with your taco toppings. The crock pot probably won't hurt it but the grill would probably give you a result worthy of the cut of meat.

I usually broil or grill, I still am a little scared of the grill! The crockpot method intrigued me, since I am scared of the grill . Last time I grilled Dh watched me and screamed "ACK!" I guess I was doing it wrong ! Something about blowing myself up    !

Think there might not be enough fat marbling in a flank steak to be tender in the steak.
We quick cook (high heat grill or broiler)to medium rare, cover, let rest so the juices are redistributed and slice across the grain thinly. On the grill I figure not more than 5 minutes and inch.
