Amy Elizabeth Explores Bloomingdales

We've had this book for awhile and never read it because the cover art just didn't draw us in (when will I ever learn to disregard the covers?)

Anyway, yesterday we read it-- it was so much fun! Amy is visiting her grandmother in NY city, and they keep trying to get to Bloomingdale's. Along the way Amy learns all about life in NY city (and compares it to life in Houston in the way that many travelers who feel a little uncertain always do). It was a great peek into life in the Big Apple. This has been my favorite book so far this week...
