Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Not jumping the gun here, but I was wondering what everyone does for the 12 Days of Christmas.
And, do you have any nifty online or other resources you use? I had a colorbook that we did a few years ago, but can't find it after our latest move

Trish,
I found this Twelve Days of Christmas lapbook a couple of weeks ago.

On each of the 12 nights of Christmas we light the beeswax candles on our Christmas tree while singing a carol like "Silent Night", "Away in a Manger" etc.. then I read a Christmas story or picture book. The candles are extinguished at the end of the story.

We don't always make it every night because of visiting - but I try!

For many years we have done a secret gift giving for the 12 Days of Christmas. We choose a family (or two) and leave anonymous gifts each day. We did it to Mary G.'s family two years back - their first winter here. She posted about it that year on her blog when we finished and revealed ourselves, so it includes all the ideas we had for the various days.
