Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'd try the 'let's be quiet next to each other' thing and come up with some really good reason to be quiet. Would she listen to an audiobook, maybe?

I hope to try. She has started to go up to her room and listen to Jim Weiss occasionally, but mainly we have to listen togetherrrrrr and talk and talk and talk about it.

Reading time isn't the problem, it's the quiet part she has trouble with.

Here is what I think our days will be like:

Morning:
Get up and get dressed, eat breakfast.
Head off on an adventure of some sort, together or separately, either here at home or elsewhere depending on mood, weather, or funds.

Afternoon: gather, have some tea, and either continue with previous adventures or begin new ones.

At some point during the day JBug will read and do some math, and Superboy will do some algebra. These are my only "musts." Other than that, we have a big, beautiful state to explore here and the kids are as eager I am to learn all about it. That should keep us pretty busy.

Theresa,
I love the way you categorize your schedule into "sections of the day". It's like using little boxes but leaving the windows and doors wide open. It flows so well that way, doesn't it?
