I just had a shock, I went to look something about Montessori stuff online and google pulled up 4 real learning posts. That really unnerved me because it never occured to me that people who are outside of the 4Real network, could find whatever is posted here without actually reading through the site. Much less that if I google my name, that my posts show up. Is there any way to put up a firewall so that can't happen? I guess that isn't possible. But it makes me rethink any information that I would personally post on this forum...maybe I am just paranoid?

Yes, Google and other search engines regularly index the information contained in the forums here. This has led to many new members who would not have otherwise found this community.

Because the information posted on 4Real is publicly available, we have always discouraged members from publishing any personally identifiable data, and we have edited posts in the past to protect members whenever something like that was discovered.
