Dvorak in America by Joseph Horowitz (for older kids) -- I have not read this myself but for the first few pages, you may want to pre-read

Two Scarlet Songbirds by Carole Lexa Schaefer


I'll be back with more... currently listening to Slavonic Dances -- such a delight! It's piano for four hands. Perfect to lift spirits on this very gloomy Cincinnati day.
