We are thinking of doing this - to celebrate Pope Benedict's visit in a few weeks. I have a link to a unit study (JPII) which I will post and some other ideas that I am ruminating on. Please share any ideas - especially for Benedict XVI.

I am not sure we will do anything - you have just inspired me to get back to thinking about it. Maybe we will make a trip to the JPII Cultural Center.

Here's a GREAT DVD we just finished watching -- Inside the Vatican -- done by National Geographic back in 2002. It's an amazing documentary of all the amazing background folks at the Vatican ... the archivists, the maintenance folks (called Santo Petrinis!), the photographer, the renovators, the Swiss Guard .... VERY cool addition to a unit on the Papacy!
