Hey - it still is winter and while there is a chance of snowy weather I wanted to get a few more winter/snow books into the Picture Book a Day Challenge. This one is about a young girl in Catholic school so as homeschoolers you might say this doesn't apply to our life, but it is a great book. What I like about it - it's a fun look at big Catholic families (hand-me downs and pillow fights), it encourages students to push themselves and accomplish things they find challenging. It portrays religious sisters in a positive light as real people. It is a sweet book - very nostalgic.
