Final Update: 06-02-10
Rodney, age 7 yrs, died this morning at home with his family. Thank you for all the prayers offered for him and his family.
Update 04-29-10:
Treatments started in January have not worked. The family was told this past week that there is nothing else that can be done. Rodney and his family are now under the care of Hospice. I just can't imagine how my cousin is feeling. Please pray for Rodney and his family. Thank you.
UPDATE 1/14/10:
Rodney is home now. He has started a new treatment protocol which involves taking chemo pills daily and IV only once a week. He is definitely a fighter and from my cousin's CarePage, Rodney is very positive about it all.

Update: 01-06-10
Please keep Rodney, now 6 years old, in your prayers. Several months ago, after 18 months of cancer treatments, the family was told he was cancer-free.  Now, the cancer is back -- spots on his lungs. He had surgery on his lungs yesterday. I'm sure cancer treatments will begin again when he is stable. He needs prayers for a miracle as the cancer was a Stage 4 when this all started 2 years ago. Thank you for your prayers.
Update: 08-12-08
Dear Ladies,
I hope you will say a prayer for Rodney, a 4 year old, who has cancer. The family found out two days ago after he was sent to major medical center with a collapsed lung. He's had surgery to remove a few masses from his lung and has started chemo.

01-17-08 UPDATE Thank you for your prayers. The family has found out that he has a rare cancer (sorry don't have the name in front of me), 250-300 cases a year in US in the 1-5 year old age group. The cancer is at StageIV, which is the worst stage. His parents are praying that he will be healed, but if not have agreed for his case to be used in helping other children if necessary. Although the current 5 days of treatment are complete and he is home, there will be continued treatments. Please continue to keep Rodney and his family in your prayers. Thank you again for your prayers.

UPDATE:
Rodney is now halfway through the regiment of chemo and radiation treatments. He still has another 6 months to go. His family reports that he is doing well. He spends 4-6 days in the hospital about every 6 weeks for a heavy dose of chemo.
Please continue your prayers for this little boy. He will be going to kindergarten this fall and has enjoyed various activities this summer inbetween treatments.
Thank you for your prayers. I know my cousin appreciates all the prayers offered for her son.
