Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I read a great article in an nursing magazine recently. The article is below.

Updated and more specific guidelines for exercise

I like how specific this article is....

I hope the link works.

What do you think about it?

I LOVE it! When I hit the link, I was thinking "breastfeeding" not "being a nurse" sort of nursing magazine and I was a bit worried as I'm currently training for a triathlon I didn't want to be limited!

I need specific guidelines to help me so the mph for "vigorous" activity was helpful (apparently my bike ride today was vigrous, and I didn't know it ) in addition to what sorts of things we do naturally counting as exercise.

The most surprising part for me was this:
They [the CDC and ACSM] stated, "All people over the age of 2 years should accumulate at least 30 minutes of endurance-type physical activity of at least moderate intensity on most, preferably all, days of the week."

I never thought that we would need to say that 2 year olds need exercise.
