Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm not sure if this belongs here.

Last year I saw an advertisement for a white daylily called "Assumption Daylily" on Faith and Family magazine. It blooms close to the feast of the Assumption. When I went to order it, it was sold out. Now I'd like to get it early and I've lost the linkand the magazine. Does anyone know where to get it?

I found my magazine. It says the white daylily is also known as the "Assumption Daylily" due to its mid-August bloom. They reccomend planting the "Jolly White Giant" variety. You can purchase it here. I should've asked St. Anthony before posting.

Thanks, Ruth! This is a beautiful idea that I think I'll borrow!

Peace,
Nancy
