Over the years I've done different things (like taping them to door frames, putting them in baskets, etc.). My mother made a wall angel out of cardboard and felt to keep all of hers...
Any other ideas? The taping to the door frame thing is getting old for me, but my brain is too lame to come up with anything more exciting!!

Maryan, I am sure you would be able to buy something like this over there: Christmas Card Holders I have found it extremely tidy and helpful and it is a lovely site on the wall.
They are very inexpensive.

Laura and Annie -- these are both great food for thought!! I think I have all the supplies for some of the links that you sent Laura, so I may try a garland line or a fishing line display!!

Maryan, last year I turned our bulletin board into an abundance of blessings. It was a huge conversation piece all through the holidays, but especially at our family Christmas party!

We tape them to the panes of the leaded glass doors that lead into our living room. After Christmas, I use all the photos that people send as bible and bookmarks for my spiritual books, then I pray for that family when their faces peek back at me from my open bible or book.

We tape them on our door, and door frames. I remember when I was growing up and we had a HUGE mirror over the fireplace. My mom would tape them up all around that huge frame, and with the stockings hanging below, that was my very favorite part of Christmas decorating, besides the tree. The cards reflected in the mirror, and made it so pretty. I LOVE Christmas cards!!!

I have done the door ribbon and bow idea that was listed on one of the pages Laura linked to in several variations and also the clothesline garland. This year...they are just taped to the door.

This is the display we have been using for a few years. I got the idea from Family Fun.
Directions here.

Recently I removed awful sliding doors from the front of my pantry and replaced them with curtains. The pantry meets at the corner a slider door to my backyard which I also with the same curtains. The curtains hand from rods on these cafe rings. Sooo...I have been hanging our cards/photos from the cafe rings . When the season is over, I'll transfer pictures only to a corkboard in our hallway.
Love,

We place them on the fireplace mantle -- by season's end, it's a pretty impressive display.

We hang ours on jute that hangs across the doorway from our living room to our kitchen. We hang them by clothespins so its kind of like a clothesline of cards. We don't have a door frame there so it can be hung high enough that no one hits their heads on the cards . I actually need to hang another one above the one we have, the first one is full! I love Christmas cards, but I am so bad about sending them. Someday I'll get it together.....hopefully.
