I went in for a regular OB appointment this morning and they could not find a heartbeat. I saw a perinatologist there who did an ultrasound and confirmed that my baby has died. He believes that the baby died because of a one-time chromosomal abnormality that lead to heart failure. He said they will do an autopsy after the delivery. I am/was 22 weeks pregnant. Tomorrow I will go to L&D to be induced and deliver vaginally. The doctor said our baby is a girl. We want to name her Mary Grace. My almost five year-old is heartbroken. Please pray for us. We are living overseas and far away from family. This hasn't really sunk in for me yet but I know I will need prayers for tomorrow and in the days ahead. My children are four and two years-old.
