Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Welcome Karen!!! I knew it was you when I saw your username!

We decided to get a set of regular Legos along with those boards for Christmas. THE BOARDS / BASES MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE! They love 'em!

There are also some cool wooden blocks on the market now that might be a fun transition -- Kapla blocks, Keva planks, and this one at Nova Natural called interlocking blocks.

I will tell you, I got Keva planks this Christmas for the kids. We give 1 big gift to them all. We ordered 400. Came with nice bag and booklet too. My hubby LOVES these :) They played for hours with them on Christmas and used them yesterday. DD even branched out and final built her first tower which was really neat. Didn't get a pic though :(

The Kapla planks were on clearance at Target for I think 50% off. I didn't get these though b/c well I wanted not painted ones and built in USA. The Keva's a built in USA and have no sealant or paint and so soft.

LOVE the Keva's. Hubby wants another 400 in a few years!
And for the Duplos, all mine love them. They do legos with dad.
