Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Praying that the epidural isn't a problem this time, and for all Chemai's intentions.

Peace,
Nancy

Praying...and I would want my dh there if possible, so I will pray especially hard for good anesthesia for her. (I had a C under a general...NOT fun.)

Poor Chemai! The last thing she needs is pressure and negativity from the very people who are supposed to be helping her! Praying that the epidural is fine and that the delivery goes perfectly. May the Lord and His Blessed Mother continue to grant strength and courage to Chemai and her husband.

Wow! It always seems there is some new challenge for this family. God must love them very much, and have a great deal of grace to offer them, because He is sure allowing them great trials for this precious child! Adding my prayers for courage and strength here in the home stretch!

Anne, thank you so much for all your updates on Chemai. Will she be getting the "good doctor"?

I am keeping Chemai, Augustine, Scott & the rest of the family in prayer.

I just read this thread for the first time, and the first thing I want to say is PRAISE GOD!! HE IS SO GOOD!I am astounded that Chemai and Auguestine have made it this far and I am so happy. I certainly am praying that everything goes smoothly from here on out! AND that no matter what the intentions of the doctor(s), her fertility is protected and there are no bad reactions! May our angels help protect her!
Love in Christ,
Maire

Things are nearly there as you know but Chemai I feel, is needing some extra last minute prayers.

She has had a very bad day feeling very off and strange. She woke with a sore throat but has other strange symptoms that maybe are connected with her diabetes or with Augustine's readiness for labour (considering he doesn't know about the ceasar! )

With all this Chemai has felt anxious without really knowing why and has no one with her at present and feeling very vunerable.

Scott cannot be there until Sunday night at this stage and her mother who lives a few hours away, cannot be there at present either.

It is Friday night here at present and she has two days before she will have Scott with her, any extra prayers would be greatly appreciated, asking Our Lady to carry and hold her in these very last remaining days...

I also wish to say that the prayers offered for good doctors are showing great fruit - their dear, competent and Catholic friend who is a gynacologist at the hospital and who has wisely counselled them along the way, has said he will be in operating theatres that very morning and that he will talk personally with all the staff assisting at Chemai's ceasar, he has also said the doctor who is now scheduled to do her ceasar is a good doctor that he could recommend.

God Bless you all for holding Chemai so dearly in prayer through all her trials and begging heaven for Augustine to go to term. I will never forget the power of all these prayers and sacrifices, as long as I live....truly awesome.

Praying for Chemai and Augustine as they wait those final hours...and for Scott's safe travel...and for you, a shining example of friendship.

Chemai's ceasarian is scheduled for roughly 8.30am Queensland Aus time and she expected to be first off the rank due to being diabetic. So working out the equivalent time according to the 4Real clocks, 8.30am should be 6.30pm Monday (12.17) for you. Any prayers for everything to go well will be greatly appreciated and I will get back on the forum with news as soon as I hear it!

It is all so very exciting!!! Augustine is nearly here!
