My 14 year old has a few red bumps of unknown origin on his trunk and arms and has been feeling unwell.

I feel a bit silly posting this, but Chari always tells me to ask for prayers BEFORE things get to full red alert.   So it's Chari's fault -- LOL!

It is probably nothing, but if it turned out to be chickenpox -- which he has not had yet --- it could be a bad thing for his liver-transplanted brother Aidan.

Asking for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to deal with this --- I just am asking for us to be covered with prayer.

Praying for all the other intentions out there!

Praying, Willa....summer is a pretty popular time for rashes of all sorts, usually viral...if it is chicken pox, can they give an antiviral to your little one? Just wondering....you might call his docs to give them a heads up..

Pretty sure at this point it IS chickenpox that Sean has.... the typical vesicles are showing up.   

Aidan will probably be able to get an immunoglobulin shot that may minimize the effects. Then antiviral meds to help further -- I don't know if he will need to be hospitalized or not if he develops the disease.   We have a call in and will hear tomorrow.

Then Kevin will take Sean off to quarantine at his grandma's cabin.   Sean and Aidan have not been together a lot so just maybe Aidan wasn't exposed, though I rather fear it won't be that easy.   

Thank you for the prayers.   I will always listen to Chari's advice after this -- -- well, almost always -- I feel so much better that the prayers were already coming.
