Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Marilyn,

The exact same thing happened to me just 3 weeks ago. I was really, really hoping and praying for a VBAC.Thank God, I didn't go into labor as it turned out I had placenta previa, the baby was breech and her arms were up over her head. What a heck of a delivery that would have been! I will pray for peace of mind for whatever ends up happening with your situation. God knows.

I'm going to hijack this thread...but I couldn't let this go without attention! Congrats, Kristina on your new little one. Did you find out about the P. Previa really late in the game?

I had that with ds. Man proposes, God disposes.

Hi Jenn,

Thanks!!
Yeah, we didn't find out until the morning of the c-section when Dr. A did the sono to find out the baby's position. That certainly explained why the baby dropped a couple of times and then floated back up. That had us a little confused. Dr. A thought the cord was wrapped around her neck.

Man proposes, God disposes-SOOO True!! After my last traumatic delivery, I was absolutely NOT going to have another c-section. God had other plans and thankfully, everything worked out smoothly.

Oh Kristina - you are scaring me. Why did you have a sono - do they always do this for an induction? Please pm me. I have a feeling we have the same doctors. I have one doctor preferring a c-section and one pro-VBAC. Long story - but one thought the baby had moved back up - and so I had to go in and the other said he had not. I too really want to VBAC - but really I just want my little one out safely by whatever method - and all this waiting is making me so anxious.

Right now the induction is scheduled for Friday morning. Should I ask for a sono before?
