My dear friend is due at the end of July, and just started leaking amniotic fluid. Along with some other signs, it looks like labor might be imminent. She goes to the doctor tomorrow morning. All of this is complicated by the fact that her baby has a congenital heart defect, which may require surgery at birth. Even one more week in the womb would mean so much for this little one. (A month would be even better!) Your prayers are appreciated.

Thank you so much for your prayers everyone! Things are looking better for now. The leak seems to have sealed, she's only a little dilated, and her NST was good. Baby seems content to stay put at the moment. Your continued prayers are appreciated for this little one, however, since even if labor and birth go well, there is the issue of the heart defect. Please pray that baby will not need surgery until he or she is big and strong enough. Thank you!!!
