Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My laundry room is a very narrow mudroom. The washer and dryer are on one side and then there are rows of hooks for coats on the other. I posted a picture here and here . The room is so narrow that there isn't really any room for ANYTHING in it--no labeled baskets or hampers or anything. If I leave something on the floor, I can't walk through to the garage. So, our hampers are in my bathroom and, come to think of it, our baskets have no real permanent home. They go up and down with me to the laundry room and then to the bedrooms. It's a never-ending cycle. And I can't figure out how to make it better. I tend to fold clothes in my bedroom (and occasionally on the main level in the family room). It all feels so inefficient but...
Mary Chris, I'm coming to check yours out IRL.

...but it's real life.

And that's all she wrote.
